If you’re like Boaby and you’ve had anal sex without a condom, Steve Retson Project and Sandyford can assess you for PEP – medication that can prevent HIV from transmitting. PEP works best if it’s started within 24 hours, though it can work up to 72 hours after you’ve had a risk. You can walk into Steve Retson Project and Sandyford for a PEP assessment without making an appointment. When SRP and Sandyford are closed, you can go to A&E.
