Have you tested yet?
This week is European HIV testing week. To make sure every man who would like to test can test, the Steve Retson Project is providing extra testing clinics throughout the week in the City Center and Merchant City.
The Steve Retson Project are running a range of free 60 second HIV testing clinics from Monday 20th to Saturday 25th November at The Riding Room, Pipeworks Sauna and Sandyford Central. You don't need an appointment to attend any of these extra testing clinics. they will work on a first come, first serve basis.
During this time Sexual Health Advisors from Steve Retson Project will be available to provide testing and answer any questions you may have about your sexual health. You will also be able to pick up some free condoms while you chat!
If you’re not sure about whether to test or not you can read our Pros and Cons of testing SPR blog to help you make your mind up.
The main benefit of testing and knowing your HIV status is taking control of your health. Not knowing means uncertainty: about your health and how you negotiate the sex you want.
Today people living with HIV live a long and healthy life when treatment starts early.
Why not make this week, the week you take control.
